Apart from enjoying swinging the golf club, professionals like to watch and support their favorite teams in other sports. The same is with Tiger Woods, who enjoys watching various other sports when relaxing. Moreover, a couple of years back, the former World Number One revealed all the teams he has supported since his childhood.

The 15-time major championship winner recently revealed the three teams he roots for in various sports. Tiger in 2020, in an extensive interview, spoke about the name with Golf Digest’s Henni Zuel. Moreover, in the interaction, Woods reveals the team he supports in NFL, NBA, and the Major League Baseball or MLB.

He talked about how there are three teams that he always supports, and that has not changed as he has grown up. At the same time, the World Golf Hall of Fame member also said that he supports other teams’ players. Tiger supports Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Las Vegas Raiders in the NBA, MLB, and the NFL, respectively. Furthermore, the interview was uploaded by Golf Digest on the Youtube channel as well.

Tiger revealed the same after being asked about his favorite teams while growing up, and have they remained the same over the years in all sports. Woods said, “Yes, there are only three teams. Yes. So Lakers, Dodgers, and Raiders there are no other teams that exist. Now, do I  like other players who play for you know for other teams? yes, and I will root for them. But there are no other teams.”

Not to forget, Woods is such a big Raiders fan that he has a pool table with the team’s logo on it, and is one such item every Raiders fan would love to have. Despite living in Florida, the 82-time PGA Tour winner occasionally travels to the west to support his favorite NFL team.

Moreover, in the same interviews, Woods talks about playing baseball while growing up with his father, Earl Woods. He talked about the same when asked about what was his second favorite sport while he grew up. Tiger said, “To play was baseball, I love baseball. Obviously, you know, my dad was a catcher. So naturally, I was a pitcher. So just playing catch with my dad and the backyard.” 

Moreover, the 15-time Masters champion’s words prove how he has always been involved in playing sports. Not only, golf but other sports too. At the same time, it also shows how athletic he was while growing up. It’s just incredible.
