3-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka lost to World No.239 Hugo Gaston in the third round of the French Open 2020. The Swiss tennis player hasn’t been able to impress many people in 2020 so far.

But, when it comes to social media, the 35-year-old continues to gain attention. He recently posted a picture on Instagram, flaunting his abs and well-shaped body. Hilariously, he was trolled by none other than the world number one, Novak Djokovic.

Reacting to the post, the Serbian commented, “Man, relax, you are holding your breath for too long.”

Djokovic was clearly taking a jibe at Wawrinka, insinuating that the picture is actually an illusion. As per him, if Wawrinka didn’t hold his breath, people would actually see his tummy and not his well-toned abs. Moreover, the Serbian put 3 laughing emoticons to mock the 35-year-old.

Wawrinka posted the picture with the caption- ‘Morning Sunshine.’ He even used ‘#enjoy and #love’ in the caption. But, he would not have expected Djokovic to show his love this way.

In his response, the Swiss posted 2 emojis- one of a m*ddle finger and another of a laughing one. Needless to say, he enjoyed the sarcastic jibe made by the 17-time Grand Slam winner.

The incident illustrates the bond that the two players share off the court. Fans eagerly wait for a sarcastic comment by Wawrinka if the World No.1 uploads any such post in the future.

Novak Djokovic is currently in the semis of the French Open 2020. where he will face Stefanos Tsitsipas. Novak will look forward to winning his 2nd French Open title this year. On the other hand, Stan Wawrinka is out of the Roland Garros 2020. With the European Open 2020 approaching, the Swiss star has his goals clearly chalked out.
