Haven’t you ever wanted to see your friends’ faces when you emerge victorious after teaming up for a splendid game of Fortnite? Well, your wish can now be a reality. Epic Games is teaming up with Houseparty to introduce a new video chat feature in the game!
This feature has been available on PC, PS5 and PS4 since November 18, 2020.
It’s live! Now you can video chat with friends in Fortnite with @Houseparty!

How can you video chat while playing Fortnite?
The video chat feature in Fortnite is actually quite simple to avail. All you have to do is download the Houseparty app on your iOS or Android mobile phone. Next, you simply need to link the Houseparty app to your Epic account. Once you have done this, you can connect to Fortnite and watch your friends while you battle for victory!
The video chat and its members will appear on a small screen on the left side of your device screen.

This is not all that Epic Games has to offer
The video chat feature isn’t the only thing that Epic Games has offered to the Fortnite community. To encourage more and more players to try out this cool new feature, Epic is giving away the Rainbow Fog Wrap for free. This is exclusive to those players who link their Epic Games account to the Houseparty app.
However, if you don’t own a PC or PlayStation, Epic has made sure you also get a fair chance at winning this free wrap. All you have to do to get this free skin is play five matches of Fortnite with your friends within the week of November 20 (12:00 ET) to November 26 (11:59 ET), and you stand an equal chance of winning the Rainbow Fog Wrap!

Although the video chat feature is currently available only for PC or PlayStation users, Epic has stated that they will announce if this feature will be made available for other platforms anytime in the near future.
