Conor McGregor is always on the headlines. Often it is for his in-ring spectacles such as knocking out Jose Aldo in 14 seconds or knocking out Eddie Alvarez to be the first Double champ in UFC history. But sometimes, Conor McGregor also raises eyebrows with incidents such as the time when he threw a dolly at a bus full of UFC fighters and the time he broke a fan’s phone for taking his photos.
And recently, Conor McGregor came into the news for punching an old man in an Irish pub. Now we have the reason for which Conor put his left hand on someone outside the octagon. The incident took place at the Marble Arch pub in Dublin.
From the CCTV footage, Conor can be seen walking towards the bar patrons and he offered them a round of his Proper Twelve. Conor lined up the glass twice for the guy. However, the elderly man denied and put the glasses away.
Not only that, but the elderly man also said: ” I don’t want that shit, I don’t want your drink“.
This made Conor lose his temper and after a small verbal altercation, he punched the guy in his face. Reportedly, Conor McGregor already had few drinks in him before the whole incident took place.
Conor McGregor is the owner of the whiskey brand Proper twelve, and we have seen him promoting his whiskey brands in many inappropriate environments before. We saw Conor bringing his whiskey at the UFC 229 press conference in New york. he also offered whiskey to Khabib who doesn’t drink at all and things got heated for a moment there before Dana White interfered and stopped Conor. We are all aware of the insanity Conor causes when he gets mad.
The UFC lightweight champion, Khabib said that Conor McGregor should go to jail for attacking the old man.
Conor McGregor last fought in UFC 229 in October 2018. And yet again, he is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Currently, UFC has not announced Conor’s next opponent yet.
