The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is quickly approaching and the excitement is slowly building up. The Cricket World Cup is definitely one of the biggest events on the cricket calendar. Players are excited to perform on the big stage and showcase their talent.

The tournament gets underway very soon and the 10 best ODI teams in the world will face off. For the first time in the competition’s history there is a round robin where all teams are pitted against each other. At the end of it all, the top four teams will progress into the semi-finals.

The last two Cricket World Cups have been won by the home nation, with 2011 hosts, India winning and 2015 hosts, Australia repeating the feat. The big question is, can England make it a third host emerging as champion in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019?

With a tournament of this grand a scale, the tickets would be selling like freshly baked cakes. In spite of being very expensive, the fans are willing to shell out money to watch their cricket heroes battle it out on the biggest arena.

Interestingly, reports stated that, at some venues, tickets for the Indian team’s matches are a lot more expensive than that of the World Cup 2019’s hosts, England. However, that has done little to deter fans and nearly all of the tickets are sold out.

With the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 approaching with every passing day, the window to buy any remaining ticket is quickly closing. It seems that tickets for only a handful of matches are available for purchase.

If any are left, tickets are available for purchase on the ICC’s official website here. The event’s organisers are also diligently monitoring illegal ticket-resale activity. They have even cancelled the tickets offered for sale on third-party portals.
