During the ICC WT20 India Group 2 match between India and Australia at I.S. Bindra Stadium on March 27, 2016 in Mohali, India.

The do-or–die match for both the teams turned out to be in the host’s favor as Virat Kohli’s unbeaten knock of 82 helped his team seal a place in the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
The Group 2 clash between India and Australia at the PCA Stadium, Mohali was nothing short of exhilarating battle between two of the best teams in the tournament.

After a blistering start by Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch who took their side to 50 in just 4 overs, the Indian bowlers bounced back and restricted Steven Smith’s side to 160 for 6 in their 20 overs.

India lost Shikhar Dhawan early, which brought Virat Kohli to the crease. He stayed there until the very end and saw his team home with an absolute gem of an innings.

India became the fourth and final side to seal their spot in the semi-finals. They join New Zealand, West Indies and England in the knockouts stages.

India will play West Indies at Mumbai while the Kiwis will take on England at Delhi.
