Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become a phenomenon in just a few months of its release. It took Nintendo 8 years to release New Horizons after the last Animal Crossing. But it has been a roaring success since its release in March.

The game is relaxing and there is nothing wrong you can do in it. The game includes a range of activities, from fishing to planting money trees and customizing your house with unique designs. Unsurprisingly, that has attracted the attention of the world.

It was only a matter of time before other business entities drew from its success.

Animal Crossing: IKEA Recreates its Catalog Animal Crossing Style

IKEA Taiwan has recreated its exemplary catalog using characters, themes, and items from the Nintendo game.

Animal Crossing has a simple and elegant design that makes imitation for a brand like IKEA is tough. This might not be a perfect prototype, but could be the start of something extraordinary. It won’t be long before other conglomerates do something similar.

IKEA has tried its best to match the theme of the game and use the colorful characters and their outfits.

Interior and Design are a Huge Part of the Game

The game gives you plenty of options to have distinct patterns and designs for interiors. Furthermore, it also gives you the freedom to search and look for designs in the Able Sisters shop.

This way, it represents a kind of virtual reality. Just as you look for interior design and furniture in real life, you do it in Animal Crossing too.

You get an option of crafting items for your house and this includes tables, chairs, and even your bed.

Major Conglomerates are Joining Hands with Video Games

Just recently, companies like KFC and Konami stated an interest in the internet sensation Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Companies want characters to have their costume in the game.

This is just the start of the amalgamation of video games with other industries. A lot more is to come, and it’s definitely going to be a lot of fun!

A cup of coffee, anyone?
