India got a big blow in the ongoing One Day International against Australia in Mumbai. After having won the toss, the visitors elected to field first. They called it right as Rohit Sharma fell very cheaply for 13. KL Rahul joined Shikhar Dhawan in the middle.

The duo steadied the ship with a 100-run partnership and managed to keep the scoreboard ticking at a good pace.  However, after the century stand, India lost both the wickets of Rahul and Dhawan. While Ashton Agar cleaned up Rahul for 47, it was pacer Pat Cummins who removed Dhawan for 74.

Indian captain Virat Kohli failed to impress with the bat as Adam Zampa dismissed him for a mere 16. Pace spearhead Mitchell Starc sent Shreyas Iyer back to the pavilion for only 4. Soon, India reduced to 164 for 5 within 33 overs.

Later, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant stitched a 49-run partnership before Kane Richardson struck. He dismissed Jadeja for 25 while Pant scored 28 before his dismissal to Pat Cummins. The lower order also failed to contribute much as India were all out for 255 in 49.1 overs.

Mitchell Starc bagged 3 wickets while Pat Cummins and Kane Richardson picked up 2 wickets each. On the other hand, Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar picked up 1 wicket each. However, this sudden collapse of India’s middle-order left everyone in shock.
