India have been currently playing the first Test against India in Visakhapatnam where South Africa started from 11 for 1 with Aiden Markram and Theunis de Bruyn in the middle. Mohammed Shami started for India. However, Ravichandran Ashwin bowled Bruyn in his first over in the day for mere 10. With this dismissal, he reached his 350-mark wicket. His dismissal brought Temba Bavuma on the field.
But he failed to provide a single run in South Africa’s chase. Mohammed Shami came to bowl in his second over and bowled Bavuma with a back of a length delivery which was really low whereas Bavuma was expecting a true bounce. he was thinking to defend it but it went under his bat to uproot the stumps.

However, Shami didn’t give much time to the batsmen as he bowled South African captain Faf du Plessis who came in to bat at No. 5 in the 12th over. He scored 13 off 26 including three fours. His dismissal came in the penultimate ball of the 22nd over when du Plessis left an incoming delivery from Mohammed Shami. In no time du Plessis saw was his off-stump flying all over the place.
Chasing a 395-run target, South Africa got off to a horrible start on the last day of the Test match. At the time of writing this article, the visitors have lost their eight wickets for 117 in 42 overs.

How good has Shami been today. Has hit the stumps three times. India has so many bowlers to turn to now. Won't be surprised if even Ishant has a role to play

What makes Shami lethal when bowling in the second innings? @therealkapildev

Everytime Shami knocks over stumps, it always reminds me of his first test at Kolkata. Before Bumrah came on the scene, it was watching him bowl in spells like that which made me feel so good that we have such a skillful fast bowler. His progress off late is admirable #INDvSA
