After having lost to West Indies in the first ODI, Virat Kohli-led India have been playing against the same opponent in the second game. The game is going on in Visakhapatnam where India put up a massive total of 387 runs in 50 overs.

Batting first, India openers – Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul got off to a flying start. Both stitched a 227-run partnership where Rahul scored 102 off 104, including 8 fours and 3 sixes. His dismissal brought the captain Kohli in the middle.

While everyone was expecting another Kohli masterclass, he fell for a golden duck. It was a slower short ball from Kieron Pollard where Virat was trying to hit down. But it hits high on his bat and lobs up to mid-wicket where Roston Chase took an easy catch.

As far as the game is concerned, Rohit Sharma smashed another century. He scored a blitzy 159 off 138 which included 17 boundaries and 5 sixes. Shreyas Iyer scored a quickfire half-century. He smashed 53 off 32, including 3 fours and 4 sixes.

The highlight was obviously Rishabh Pant. He was going through a bad phase earlier but he bounced back well in the first ODI. He once again proved his calibre, hitting a 16-ball 30 which included 3 fours and 4 sixes. Their heroics took India to a huge total. Sheldon Cottrell picked up 2 wickets while Keemo Paul, Alzarri Joseph and Kieron Pollard bagged one each for West Indies.
