As India gears up for life post Dhoni’s retirement, it would be interesting to see the lineup against Australia tomorrow for the fourth test of Border-Gavaskar trophy.

ES brings you the expected lineup for tomorrow.

With Dhoni’s exit, Saha returns in the side as the specialist gloveman. He would be looking to cement his place in the side as soon as possible before the Selection Board looks for other options. After a forgettable debut, KL Rahul is unlikely to be given another chance and Rohit Sharma might replace him given his proximity with now regular skipper Virat. The rest of the batting department should be the same.

In the bowling department, Aaron may replace the inconsistent Shami though the combination of Umesh-Aaron is vulnerable to leak runs. Ashwin did enough in the previous matches to hold onto his place.

While this is the first Test match post Dhoni’s retirement, it will be a litmus test for India’s new skipper Virat Kohli. It is an exceptionally emotional test for Indian fans and the result will be keenly awaited as the new look Indian side is up for its first examination.

Expected lineup :-

Shikhar Dhawan

Murali Vijay

Cheteshwar Pujara
