The India Pakistan relations which seem to be improving overtime might have to face a blockade as BCCI mulls over inviting Pakistan to play 5 ODIS and 2 T20s in December.

The Indian side apparently does not have an engagement for the coming December, however before extending the offer, BCCI needs to consult the centre, for which BCCI secretary, Anurag Thakur,  would be meeting the Union Home Ministry.

The last time these two played a series against each other was in 2012-13, and the official cricket administrative bodies of both the nations look forward to making this series a reality.

Shashank Manohar, the BCCI president had invited PCB heads for a meeting in Mumbai, however owing to protests by some organizations, the event couldn’t transpire.

There have been reports that if the proposal is not accepted by the government, BCCI would pitch in a fresh proposal with 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is.

With citizens from both sides rooting for a renewal of this rivalry, this series is highly anticipated.
