Pitch and weather

The CSK vs SRH match is set to take place at the Super Kings’ home ground at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The temperature will likely range between 30°C and 31°C. The pitch has not been friendly for batting as the ball does not come on to the bat easily. Rotating the strike will possibly be the trick to scoring runs. Also, the track  seems to suit spinners, so the likes of Imran Tahir, Rashid Khan and Shahbaz Nadeem will be in their element.

Prediction for match result

The Sunrisers will coming into the game on the back of a win over the Kolkata Knight Riders. However, the Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, lost to the Royal Challengers in a thriller. But this match is in the Super Kings’ turf, So this CSK vs SRH match may be tough to call on that front. But, the edge probably goes to the Sunrisers as they are on a roll.

This is the second time this season that there will be an CSK vs SRH meeting. The Sunrisers home leg of the CSK vs SRH clash resulted in the home team winning.
