Weather and pitch report

Since the CSK vs KXIP match is set to commence at 4PM, it will obviously be very hot in Mohali. However, some cloud cover is expected but no rain, so the dew factor will not come into play at any point in the match.

The pitch in Mohali offers some good bounce which can benefit the pace attack of either team. However, it has slowed down significantly over the years and has become a batsman’s hunting ground.

Captain and vice captain

CSK skipper MS Dhoni will be vital for Chennai in the batting and keeping department. This is their last game before the playoffs begin and Dhoni is eager to send a warning to other teams. Backing him in your Dream 11 team can earn valuable points. However, Shane is also a decent backup for the vice captain’s berth as he has been in terrific form.
