In a recent interview, Ashleigh Barty was asked about her number 1 goal in tennis. Her answer was very clear as she said,
“My dream is winning Wimbledon. Without a doubt. It took a long time for me to say that out loud. It took a long time for me to have the courage to say that out loud, but that’s what I want. That’s what I want to work towards. Being able to win Junior Wimbledon was really special, but it just gave me a taste of what it’s really like.”

While Barty may not be playing at the US Open, she will most likely play the French Open. The situation with the coronavirus is a lot better in France and more importantly, she is the defending champion. The event is going to be starting on September 27th and hopefully, the Australian will win her second Grand Slam when she plays there.
