Kagiso Rabada Leaves India with a Tweet Praising Them

South Africa have witnessed probably their worst Test series defeat recently against India where they were whitewashed by 3-0 and also two matches by an innings. This was their worst show ever as in 2015, theyr were managed to draw one Test in the four-match series. Although they started well in the three-match T20I series where it ended in a draw 1-1 with one game washed out. However, Kagiso Rabada shared a tweet praising India before leaving.

South Africa got off to a good start in the Test series with Dean Elgar scoring 160 and Quinton de Kock scoring a century as they put up over 400 runs in Vizag. However, it went in vain as India openers Mayank Agarwal smasheded a double century and Rohit Sharma in his first Test as an opener scred twin tons and beat the visitors team by 203 runs.

The Proteas lost the second Test in Pune by an innings where Indian captain Virat Kohli smashing a whopping 254*, his highest Test score and Agarwal scoring his second Test century in two Tests. Although the third Test saw Kagiso Rabada bowling well and also getting the bounce and movement which troubled the Indian batsmen in the morning of the first day. But India batsmen certainly had the answer as opener Rohit Sharma scoring 212 and Ajinkya Rahane making his first hundred at home in three years.

South Africa bowlers failed pick wickets as well as restricted the run-flow. Though Kagiso Rabada was the highest wicket-taker for their side as he managed to scalp 7 wickets at an average of 40.71, including the best of 3/85.

However, before leaving Kagiso Rabada took to Twitter and shared a Tweet where he praised India’s all-round show.

Rabada tweeted, “India tour comes to an end. They were by far the better team, hats off to them. Back to the drawing board. New challenges await…”
