After Allan Donald’s departure in March, the role of bowling coach has now officially been given to Charl Langeveldt.

Langeveldt was with the squad at the World Cup as a ‘death bowling consultant’ and he was the obvious pick to replace Donald, and on Tuesday the board met in Johannesburg to make it official. They also extended head coach Russell Domingo’s contract.

Langeveldt has played 72 ODIs and 120 T20s for South Africa and has been a death over specialist. His experience certainly will add value to the Protean line-up and make their bowling a force to reckon.
