After the Indian cricket team crashed out of the ICC Cricket World Cup, it is clear that the era of MS Dhoni is coming to an end. Many experts and pundits believe that it is time that he hung up his boots. However, for every person calling for retirement, there are 100s of others beseeching him to stay.

Among the latter group is singer and icon, Lata Mangeshkar, who penned a heartfelt message. Other such people were politician, Smriti Irani, former cricketer Adam Gilchrist and many more tweeted their support.
