Treyarch announced players will get new double experience and double weapon experience bonuses in Zombie Mode till November 30th. This news was bigger than it seems, as it is very difficult for players to level up their weapons in the game. Naturally, many players jumped right into the game to check it out. This let a huge number of players to hop into zombie mode just to level up their weapons. Players were able to do exactly that quite rapidly thanks to this event; however, the demise of players’ joy was not far away. Treyarch released a new patch [https://www.treyarch.com/game-intel/2020/11/Nov_25_Patch_Notes] the next day and changed the progression of the game. They stated that an issue that allowed players to gain more exp than intended in Zombie mode was fixed. Unsurprisingly, this led to some turn of events in the Call of Duty’s community. In addition to bringing back the elements of the Black Ops franchise, popular characters from the franchise also make their return. Alex Mason, Jason Hudson, and Frank Woods come together to stop the impending threat.

Teaming up with CIA operative Russel Adler, who is appointed by President Ronald Reagan, the team uncovers secrets in a bid to stop Soviet agent Perseus, who is at large once again. Together, they must find a way to put an end to his/her schemes in order to prevent a possible global war.

Black Ops Cold War is the seventeenth installment in the series and the sixth in the Black Ops Series.
