It's All-Star GAME DAY!
After a memorable Skills challenge, seeing Sabrina Ionescu win another 3-point challenge, and a series of afterparties, the day of the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game has arrived! Here are some important things to keep in mind about the upcoming event: One of the biggest rule changes in this year's game is the introduction of the 4-point shot. The same will be allowed to be taken from four circles on the court, with two being placed on either side of it at above the 3-point line and at a distance of 28 feet from the rim. Instead of the standard 24-second timer, the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will feature a 20-second clock. After an offensive rebound, however, the shot clock will still reset to 14 seconds. Players will not be shooting free throws AT ALL. Instead, they will automatically get the maximum available points in any circumstance that would require them to shoot free throw(s).
Reminiscing on That Pau Gasol-Sabrina Ionescu Moment
3 championship titles, seven All-League spots, and a mutual love for the late Kobe Bryant. These are the things that unite Sabrina Ionescu and former NBA Star Pau Gasol. After the Black Mamba's passing, the Spaniard took over as an 'elder brother' figure for the WNBA star. Therefore, it wasn't a surprise when Pau Gasol turned up at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, along with his wife Catherine McDonnell, to support Sabrina. After winning the 3-point contest, the Liberty star came up to the couple and gave them a warm embrace. If there is a heaven, we are sure Kobe Bryant looked down from it at that moment, and smiled.
Flau'jae Johnson Puts Her Rap Skills on Display
It wasn't going to be a WNBA party without Flau'jae Johnson bringing in her Rap Game for all to see. A few clips of the After Party shared on social media showed the 21-year-old LSU star briefly 'shutting down' the DJ, grabbing a mic for herself, and launching into a rap verse that had everyone's attention.
Natisha Hiedeman Was Excited To Be With The New "Power Couple" of Basketball
Though Paige Bueckers' recent remarks and Azzi Fudd's phone cover were all the proof we needed to confirm the duo as a couple, we still had to hear what they meant to the other players. Natisha Hiedeman made that clear during the party. The Minnesota Lynx star got so excited to pose alongside Paige and Azzi that she exclaimed, "I'm with the Girls. I'm with the Girlies. I'm with the Power Couple!"
Lisa Leslie Sends A Powerful Message With Her Outfit Choice!
The After-Party wasn't just for the new and current players. 2× WNBA champion and Los Angeles Sparks legend Lisa Leslie proved that! The 53-year-old was looking sharp in her black jacket, white T-Shirt, and green long skirt. Leslie's T-Shirt carried a quote: "Woman Leaders Belong In Every Room," True, indeed.
PAIGE IS HERE!!!!
Well, it wasn't going to be possible to have Azzi Fudd at the After Party and not her longtime friend/recently confirmed girlfriend, who is set to play in her first-ever All-Star game in the coming hours. Sure enough, eagle-eyed social media users caught Paige Bueckers at the event! When she wasn't on her phone, the Dallas Wings star was seen interacting with Courtney Williams.
ANGEL REESE LEAVING US STUNNED!
If you ever wondered how to best bring your A-Game in terms of fashion, Angel Reese is the person you should turn to for advice. The Chicago Sky star arrived at the After Party in a black crop top and multi-colored skirt, accompanied by a pair of fancy shades.
AZZI FUDD IN THE HOUSE!
The After Party is starting to get more exciting with big names now dropping in! Chloe Mitchell managed to get an Exclusive with none other than UConn Huskies star Azzi Fudd. Dressed in a sparkly crop top and wide-leg jeans, her outfit brought out the 'Wow' factor. It was only a few hours ago when Azzi's former teammate and Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers confirmed to be in a relationship with her.

Lexi Hull Wants to Have Another Go!
During a Q&A session, Lexi Hull was asked about her reaction to the 3-point contest. She stated, "It's awesome. It's so much fun. The fans were great. I definitely felt that I heard them. I wish I could do it again, right now, cause I feel like I was so nervous at the start. All of us were".
Sabrina Ionescu Wants to Get That Perfect 'Night Night' Photo
It's impossible to drop a barrage of 3-pointers and not recreate NBA star Stephen Curry's iconic 'Night-Night' gesture. Sure enough, during her photoshoot session with the STARRY 3-Point Contest trophy, Sabrina Ionescu replicated the iconic move, just like she did after winning the contest back in 2023. Behind-the-scenes footage showed the WNBA star working with the photographers to recreate the photo exactly like it was 2 years ago.
Colts RB on the Red Carpet!
After an eventful evening, the WNBA All-Star After Party is set to get underway soon. Guests have already started arriving, with the Indianapolis Colts' Running Back Jonathan Taylor, along with Linebacker Zaire Franklin, being one of the early ones. The NFL stars were captured being interviewed on the red carpet before heading inside.

Jonathan Taylor Hypes Up The WNBA!
The official X account of 'NFL on ESPN' highlighted Jonathan Taylor's message as the player highlighted his presence at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Skills Challenge and the 3-point contest. "Listen, we got elites in this city of Indianapolis, but I like to do my fair share," said the Indianapolis Colts star. "So, anytime I can come out and support, you know I'm always here. Deep on the floor. You know what it's all about. Shout out to the WNBA, man."
SABRINA THE GENEROUS
Sabrina Ionescu, during the post-event presser, revealed that she will be splitting her 3-Point Contest prize money with Washington Mystics rookie Sonia Citron. "I gotta text her and let her know that I'm going to give her half of it," said Sabrina. "Just for participating like that. Takes a lot of courage to be able to do that as a rookie. And what she did. And I was really proud of her. And then, the other half will go to my foundation to continue to be able to give back in communities that mean a lot to me.
LIBERTY SWEEPS!
The WNBA All-Star Weekend might have been taking place on the Indiana Fever's home-turf, but the night belonged to the New York Liberty squad. With Sabrina Ionescu winning the WNBA three-point contest, and Natasha Cloud being declared the skills champion at All-Star Friday night, the NY based franchise's name shines tonight.
SABRINA WINS!
Sabrina Ionescu wins her second WNBA 3-Point contest, becoming just the second player to win multiple times! Despite a memorable effort from Allisha Gray in the 2nd round, she was unable to get over the 30 points recorded by the New York Liberty star. Sabrina's score wasn't enough to surpass the one she set 2 years ago after making 25 of 27 shots, AKA the most ever in either the WNBA or NBA. Nevertheless, she still created history!
