Madden NFL 22: How to Earn and Upgrade Team Captains in MUT?

It’s been over a month since the release of EA Sports’ Madden NFL 22. The popular sports title brings back the popular mode of Madden Ultimate Team or MUT with new gameplay features and many more.
Just like every other year, fans can again grab a free Team Captain in MUT 22 and upgrade them. Following the easy initial upgrades, players can then improve these players using Tokens. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

The return of MUT Team Captains in Madden NFL 22
To first earn a Team Captain, players need to unlock Team Affinity, which opens up at level 4. Players can level up faster in the game by playing modes like Superstar KO. Plus, it also earns them a 85 OVR Aaron Rodgers by throwing five touchdowns in the mode. Once Team Affinity is unlocked, fans can notice the unlocked Team Captains section.
To earn a Team Captain, players will have to reach Week 3 of the Campaign missions in MUT. Then, they will have to complete all 4 Team Captain Tryout Challenges. Once they complete it, they will earn a Fantasy Pack containing four Team Captain choices. This includes legends like Buccaneers SS John Lynch, Rams DE Jack Youngblood, Chargers WR Lance Alworth and Seahawks HB Shaun Alexander. The choice isn’t fixed as well, so players can trade for any of these players if they don’t like what they have.

Upgrade Team Captains in MUT
After receiving the Team Captain, players can place them in their lineup. Players will first have the 86 OVR version of the players. They can upgrade it to an 89 OVR by training them for 5 Training Points per level. Following that, they can only improve the overall ratings of these cards by earning Team Captain Tokens. They can earn these Tokens by playing activities with the release of new Team Affinity challenges.

Players will have multiple challenges to complete in activities, which will help them gain Team Captain Tokens. They can then use them to upgrade their Team Captains, who are quite important at the start of Madden NFL 22. So, players should make sure to check out for new challenges in Team Affinity to earn them because these are some of the easy high rated upgrades in the game right now.
