Battle royale title Fortnite has created a world full of characters from pop culture. Players can now equip costumes and items from different forms of media like films, TV Shows, Comic Books, and many more. With the Island full of eccentric characters, it looks like the developers might not stop anytime soon.

Following the massive pandemic which slowed down the entertainment world, it seems like movies have returned to theaters once again. Fans have seen a couple of blockbusters so far after movie theaters reopened. But, the biggest of them will arrive later this week, and it seems like the movie screens aren’t the only place the characters will come alive.

Fortnite might reveal a Dune collection soon

Popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX has shared details about the game’s next big collaboration. This time the Epic Games title will partner up with the upcoming Denis Villeneuve-directed movie, Dune. The movie stars Hollywood celebrities Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Oscar Issac, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, and many more.

The movie will release in theaters on October 22. The live-action adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic 1965 novel of the same name showcases a world in the distant future. It revolves around Chalamet’s character Paul Atreides, whose family looks after the planet of Arrakis. The movie and the book have a lot of political and religious elements set in the world of DUNE, and it looks like Fortnite might be the recipient of some of the legendary items from this world.

Items that might show up in this collaboration

HYPEX leaked some of the items which will arrive as part of the collaboration recently on Twitter. The outfits that players can use include Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Zendaya’s character Chani. Along with that, the collection will also have two backpacks in Chani’s Satchel and the Fremkit. Players will also gain access to the Sand Walk emote, Ornithopter Glider, and the Stickworm Loading Screen. Finally, there will be two Harvesting Tool options in the Maker Hooks and the Twinblades.

It remains to be seen what other items will release as part of the Fortnite x Dune collaboration. With the movie releasing in a week, players can expect to see the collection drop soon, and when it arrives, players will have items from a world unlike any other.
