Max Verstappen had a miniature meltdown on the radio during the qualifying session in China. It was triggered when Sebastian Vettel overtook him to gain track position. The Dutchman then proceeded to go on a foul-mouthed tirade to blow up at Vettel. In the meantime, a few other cars overtook the slowing car.

Unbeknownst to him, teammate Pierre Gasly was behind and was impeded by Verstappen’s slowing RB15. As it turns out, the cause of the mayhem was Lewis Hamilton who slowed down the entire grid.

With time running out, it was a mad scramble to reach the line to get a chance to start their laps. Max Verstappen mused, “They are trying to be nice, but everyone f*cks up”
