Alex Rodriguez is one of the very few sports personalities who has built an empire in their post-retirement careers. Having played baseball for over two decades, A-Rod ruled an era. And his post-retirement is equally good.

Not long ago, but in 2021, A-Rod teamed up with business tycoon Marc Lore to buy the NBA franchise Minnesota Timberwolves. And he did become a part-owner of the Timberwolves. Although it is not sure whether A-Rod bought the Timberwolves because he wanted revenge on $550 million worth of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

But the recent reports suggest that Alex Rodriguez is having trouble generating more money for the second installment. Not to forget that from being an equal partner, A-Rod went on to become a secondary partner to Lore because of the lack of money. As things stand, A-Rod owns only 7% of the Timberwolves while Lore has 13% of the Timberwolves shares.
