‘A-Rod’ Paid Him to Leave the Country’- Controversial MLB Legend Jose Canseco Once Shared Shocking Testimony of Introducing Alex Rodriguez to Known PED Suppliers

Despite having an excellent baseball career, Alex Rodriguez ruined his baseball legacy with a minor mistake. Notably, even A-Rod accepted that he used PEDs (performance-enhancing drugs) during the early days of his baseball career. Talking about the same, another controversial MLB legend, Jose Canseco shared some shocking detail about A-Rod’s connection with PEDs. Notably, Canseco once pleaded guilty to his involvement in a high-profile steroid case.

How accurate is Jose Canseco’s claim about Alex Rodriguez?

Though Alex Rodriguez admitted using PEDs during his playing days, Canseco’s claim is beyond acceptable. MLB also punished A-Rod for his mistake. But what Canseco said in an interview with DJ Vlad is unbelievable.

The two-time World Series winner said that he provided the contact details of a PEDs dealer to A-Rod. And A-Rod helped the drug dealer leave the country.

“I am gonna talk about A-Rod and now let the world know who he really is and what he is really doing. I put him in contact with known PED dealers,” Jose Canseco said in 2021. “And the guy I mentioned actually his name left the country. A-Rod paid him to leave the country. So, he wouldn’t be found. He has some people around him that are very dangerous kinds of thuggish people he pays off…”

Whether it is true, only A-Rod and Canseco can tell. But if such words are coming out of Canseco’s mouth, it is better to avoid such comments. Because it is not the first time he has blamed A-Rod for something the Yankees legend did not even do. In the same interview, Canseco said that A-Rod dated his ex-wife Jessica Canseco. But this was not true as well.
