The bond between siblings is the most special one. They look out for each other even if they’re not on talking terms. Why did Derek Jeter use to tease his sister?

In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Vault, when Sharlee was about 19 years of age, she talked about how protective she was of her brother Derek Jeter, when he dated in high school. She talked about the incident for which she got teased about even after years of it happening.

“At one of his high school baseball games, I confronted this girl he was dating. I was in the sixth or seventh grade, and I said to her, ‘I don’t want you here, and Derek doesn’t want you here.’ I think I was just jealous that she was taking my brother away from me, but even now, I’m really protective,” Sharlee said about his brother.
