In a recent interview with The View, as Fallon spoke about that moment, he said, “Everyone was grabbing my hand in slow motion, like, NO!! He’s a New York Yankee. He makes so much more money than you.”

And everyone who tried to stop Fallon from picking up the tab was not wrong. It’s because when the check came, Fallon was the most surprised of them all. The bill was his month’s rent, $4,000. Also, it is not the first time that Fallon has spoken about that unforgettable night. 

Did Jeter pay Fallon back?

Earlier this year, Jeter appeared on Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon. There, the two of them spoke about many things, including Jeter being inducted into the GQ Sports Style Hall of Fame, getting on the cover of MLB The Show, their night outs, and many others. 

It was also the moment where Fallon revealed about losing his rent money to pay for the drinks when the big Yankee money could have done that. But whether Jeter ever paid him back is not sure.
