During his Exclusive EssentiallySports interview, Stephen Phillips opened up on various aspects of his career. This includes superstars he has met over the years, including New York Yankees stars. During the interview, he spoke about Aaron Judge and his great attitude. He shared how Judge was walking out of the dugout but came back to greet him.

Phillips then went into detail about the incident and said, “But there was a time when I was in the dugout at Yankee Stadium talking to Brian Cashman at the end of the dugout, and Aaron Judge came out of the clubhouse, walked up the steps, stopped, looked down, saw me, came back down the steps, walked all the way down, shook my hand said, ‘Hey, how you doing? Nice to see you again; what’s going on?'”

This greatly shocked Stephen Phillips, who had not seen such a polite and thoughtful superstar before. Furthermore, it greatly enhanced his opinion of the current Yankees captain. Although this incident may be new to some, Judge’s attitude and politeness are not. Regardless, it indeed left an impression on Phillips.
