If there is one person to blame for the fall of A-Rod’s baseball career, it is none other than himself. Having played for over two decades, Alex Rodriguez entertained an era. The former Yankees slugger won almost everything a baseball player dreams of. However, his one mistake ruined his legacy in the game.

It is no secret that Major League Baseball suspended A-Rod for an entire season for using PEDs during his playing days. Had he not gotten involved with PEDs (performance-enhancement drugs), A-Rod would have been in the same company as Derek Jeter, Mickey Mantle, and a few more Yankees.

The former Yankee was a spoiled child in the game of baseball. Earlier in 2011, A-Rod reportedly attended a top-secret poker game that used illegal substances.

Did Alex Rodriguez play an underground illegal poker game during his playing days?

Per an investigative report from Radar Online, former Yankee, Alex Rodriguez, secretly played the top-secret illegal poker game. Not only A-Rod, but the report also suggests that Hollywood A-listers like Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Matt Damon also played these illegal games.

What is more worrying is that A-Rod played this game when MLB was doing an investigation on his PEDs consumption. And if Radar’s report is true, the then-Yankees slugger, even lost a few thousand dollars in the illegal poker game.

“He just shook his head, not knowing what the hell happened. He didn’t want to deal with it at all. And he was like, ‘OK, whatever. It’s your game,’” an informer revealed this to radaronline.com.

“I would estimate A-Rod lost, like, a few thousand dollars that night. After everything that happened, he paid-up and left. It was a rough initiation to high-stakes for poker for A-Rod.”

However, A-Rod’s representative completely denied this information. “Mr. Rodriguez has not participated in these poker games,” said his spokesperson, Richard Rubenstein.
