“It’s Game 7 Every Day…”- $341 Million New York Mets Star Expresses Eagerness at Representing His Nation at the World Baseball Classic

World Baseball Classic is right around the corner and with its first game less than a month away. Many MLB stars are going to take part in the tournament and represent their home nations. One such star is none other than $341 million New York Mets star Francisco Lindor. Notably, the superstar shortstop is coming off a good 2022 MLB season.

Lindor played a big part in the Mets’ season and helped them win 101 games. But unfortunately, they faltered in the postseason. Most recently, the Met’s star opened up about the World Baseball Classic and his excitement at playing for Puerto Rico.

With the World Baseball Classic around the corner, many MLB stars are eagerly waiting for it to start. And the New York Mets star Francisco Lindor is no different. Being a Puerto Rico native, Lindor opened up about his participation in the WBC. MLB’s official Twitter account shared a video of Lindor speaking in a Tweet.

While speaking, Lindor said, “It’s game 7 every day. I love that. I love, I love whenever I get to wear Puerto Rico across my chest and just give it everything I got. Day in and day out.” He really showed his love and enthusiasm for his home nation.

One Mets star recently vowed to keep a prized possession after buying a new car. But getting back to the World Baseball Classic, fans are looking forward to seeing Lindor play. But the star shortstop will have to do his best to stay healthy as the Mets will need him more than ever this season.

The Mets are aiming for a deep playoff run this year

In 2022, the New York Mets once again showed their ability to win games during the regular season. But they were knocked out of the postseason during the Wild Card Series. The Mets will aim to make it further into the postseason in 2023.

In fact, given their star-studded roster, they will be one of the favorites to win the World Series. And for that to happen, all of their players need to be healthy and in the best condition.
