Playoffs are nearing, and teams such as Cleveland Guardians are turning the tables around by clinching the titles. With last night’s smooth win, Guardians clinched the AL Central Division title. With it, they proved everybody wrong who thought they would not even make it to the playoffs.

The statistics were not in favor of the Guardians when this year’s season started, and nobody forgot to tell the team about it. The team was at the last of every prediction, be it winning division, wild card, making it to playoff chances, and first-round-byes. But it is not the case anymore. They have clinched the title and are all ready to go into the playoffs. 

With this, the Guardians are now mocking the Chicago White Sox, who were supposed to have won the division crown this season. 

Who did the Cleveland Guardians win over to take the crown?

The start of the season was not in favor of the Guardians, but they managed to somehow turn it in their favor when they won against the Texas Rangers by 10-4. 

For the land, the team is also mocking their rival Chicago White Sox, who everybody thought will be taking the AL Central Division Crown home for the second time in a row. 

The team and everybody associated with it did not forget to thank their manager Terry Francona for an awesome job managing the team. The celebration went on as Francona said a few words, and then they started to get drenched in alcohol.

Guardians’ social media handles did not stay behind and mock everyone who said that the team has no chance of making it to the playoffs.

When the first half did not go in the Guardians’ favor, they got the second one by their side. The team is now at 86-67, out of which they had around only 23 losses in the second half.
