Last night, like many others, was a gigantic and memorable one for the Yankees star player Aaron Judge. Yankee Stadium became a beholder of Aaron Judge’s 55th home run.
Judge made his debut in the Major Leagues in 2016 and the following year got the Rookie of the Year award. 2017 was also the year when Judge hit 52 home runs. Starting this year in January, All Rise predicted that he would be hitting 50 again this year. He fulfilled his prediction only in the month of August.

Now, with almost 25 games left, Judge is just seven home runs away from breaking the record of legendary Roger Maris’ AL HR record of a season. Maris made the still-standing record of most home runs in a season in the year 1961, and it might get broken this season.
Analysts on Aaron Judge potentially breaking Maris’ record
Former MLB players turned analysts Mark Sweeney and Dontrelle Willis are pretty assured that All Rise will not only break Maris’ record but will be making a significant difference in their numbers.

“I look at that 61 number. That is very important, and getting to 62, I think, would be a monumental thing, “ Sweeney said.

Whereas Willis straight-up just called Judge a ‘superman.’
“I said 63 about two weeks ago, but it might be 70… He is going to be a superman in that lineup until guys are able to step up like a swing set and help him out offensively,” Willis said while talking about the number of home runs that Judge will be potentially hitting this season.

Yankee fans believe in All Rise. MLB analysts believe in him, and his team believes in him as well. And the chances of Judge breaking Roger Maris’ record are pretty high as well.
Maris’ record of 61 home runs is controversial?
Before Maris, American League’s most home runs in a season record was held by Babe Ruth at 60 in 1927. Ruth, at that time, hit 60 homers in 154 games of MLB. Whereas, Maris’ record of 61 homers was made in 162 games. Therefore, it is sometimes considered controversial.
