Notably, it’s always a pleasure to see when kids take up the profession of their parents and do an even better job than their parents sometimes.

It’s every parent’s dream to see their young ones take up the same lifestyle they did, and even better when they’re a sports person. And from the looks of it, former MLB player Wilton Guerrero’s son is doing wonders. Guerrero is the older brother of another famous player, that is Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero. Since the son of ‘Vlad the Impaler’ is also in the MLB, talent seems to run in the family!

Wilton Guerrero Jr. is already doing wonders at only 13 years old

MLB insider Hector Gomez recently shared a series of videos of Wilton Guerrero Jr. pitching on the diamond. In the first few videos, he can also be seen batting like a pro. Gomez captioned the video, “Wilton Guerrero Jr., SS, 13 years old.” Looks like the teenager is already following in his family’s footsteps from a young age! Not only his father but his uncle and cousin are also known names in the major leagues.

Gomez later re-shared the Twitter post and included his impressive stats. “Wilton Guerrero Jr. dashes 6.5 in the 60 yards at just 13 years old,” said the MLB insider. Notably, Wilton Guerrero Sr. had an impressive career while playing for the LA Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds, as well as Kansas City Royals. Although there have been questions about Guerrero Sr.’s birth certificate, his talent is undeniable.

How has the rest of the Guerrero family performed apart from Vladimir Guerrero?

There is no need to introduce Vladimir Guerrero, who is known for his power-hitting. The nine-time All-Star winner impressed the masses with his throwing arm as well as his defensive abilities. Vlad the Impaler’s illustrious career ultimately led to his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.

And Vlad Guerrero Jr. is no less impressive. The Canadian-Dominican player is the designated hitter for the Toronto Blue Jays and made his MLB debut in 2019. Guerrero Sr. has a total of eight sons, another one of which recently proved his baseball prowess. Pablo Guerrero was recently signed on to the Texas Rangers and fans can’t help but compare him to his father and brother.
