New York Yankees are absolutely sensational in the current season. Right from the start of the 2022 season, the Yankees have carried their momentum. Unlike the past few seasons, the Yankees are a completely different team in 2022.

And there is a reason they are so lethal. The versatility, unpredictability, and not relying on certain players are the main reasons behind their successful run in the 2022 season. Sometimes, it will be Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, while DJ LeMahieu, Anthony Rizzo, and even Nestor Cortes Jr. have also taken the Yankees home.

DJ LeMahieu of the New York Yankees celebrates his 10th anniversary in style

After joining the New York Yankees in the 2019 season, LeMahieu has become an integral part of the squad. Known for his clutch hitting, LeMahieu led the Yankees to the win over the White Sox. The Yankees star smacked a grand slam and won the game for his team.

It is not the first time LeMahieu hit a home run, but this game was special for him, as it was his 10th anniversary in MLB.

Talking to MLB.com, the 33-years-old said he cannot believe that he has played for ten years in the big league.

“It’s hard to wrap my mind around 10 years,” LeMahieu said. “If you would have told me that 10 years ago, I would have been pretty shocked. I guess if you have 10 years, have a good game and get a win, you can’t ask for much more.”

Apart from LeMahieu, another star with a pitching role has been in sublime form.
