Is there any team more popular than the New York Yankees? Over time, the NY Yankees have established themselves as the most powerful, prestigious, and prosperous MLB franchise. Analogous to their popularity, the Yanks have a strong and prestigious past that serves its honor and ego. Similarly, even in 2022, the Yanks became the fastest team to win their first 70 games. However, after their tremendous start, the Yankees’ trajectory completely changed. Markedly, the New York Yankees have won 27 World Series titles, 40 American League Pennants, and 20 East Division Titles.

The powerful NY Yankees postseason struggle since 2009

Strikingly and surprisingly, the NY Yankees haven’t made a single World Series appearance since 2009 – which is the last time they also won the World Championship. It is shocking to imagine that a team that has won 27 World Series Titles hasn’t made a single appearance since 2009. As a matter of fact, the Yanks have missed the postseason only thrice since 2009 (2013, 2014, & 2016). It directly indicates a strong league performance but a poor postseason performance.

Will Aaron Judge cross the magic number 61?

Aaron Judge has been an absolute spectacle to watch this season. He’s triumphed through the league at a robust average of 0.296 and is currently the most suitable American League MVP candidate with 51 home runs.
