Baseball legend, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, once spoke about former President Barack Obama, on The Jimmy Fallon Show. ‘A-Rod’ has made multiple appearances on Fallon’s talk show. Back when Rodriguez got engaged to the singer, Jennifer Lopez, the former President of The USA, congratulated the pair. 

Barack Obama is an honorable personality, who needs no introduction. An avid sports lover, the two times former President is a passionate follower of various sports. In baseball, Mr. Obama has long been a supporter of the Chicago White Sox. So understandably, retired baseball legend and New York Yankees icon, Alex Rodriguez’s engagement news, caught the former dignitary’s attention. 

Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and Jennifer ‘JLO’ Lopez are two iconic figures with immense popularity in their respective professions. Therefore, their engagement ceremony made big news back in the day. Rodriguez and Lopez touched at heart by special words from an honorable man 

The baseball legend, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, and singer, Jennifer Lopez, famously got engaged in the year 2019. There was an enormous bunch of celebrities who sent their well-wishes to the iconic couple. Amongst those were some very heart-warming kindred words from the former President, Barack Obama. Both ‘A-Rod’ and ‘JLO’ were surprised as well as overjoyed to read such a personal message from the then President himself.  

‘A-Rod’ once appeared on the Jimmy Fallon Show, post-engagement with Lopez. Rodriguez took Barack Obama’s note along, framed as memorabilia. The couple found the note upon returning home from their engagement getaway. 

“The thing is, I’m just a kid from Miami. I have a single mother. I grew up in the boys and girls club. I had nothing growing up,” quoted Rodriguez on The Jimmy Fallon Show as having told Lopez, while reacting to the note. ‘A-Rod’ then added about Lopez’s reaction, saying “She was equally as excited and it was just so cool.”

After 26 years together, we can say that whatever challenges life may bring, sharing them with someone you love makes it all better. All the best.”
