One of the most common questions about the upcoming Free Agency is whether the Two-way Phenom will leave Los Angeles Angels. Although predictions are on, some sources say the legend is aiming for the World Series because of undergoing a playoff drought since his debut in 2018. So, his chances of leaving are getting higher.

Also that it’s not a static thing, as he may join an East Coast team if they match the offer. Therefore, he will look to join the Free Agency with his mind and eyes open.

Per the same source, “Ohtani wants to be at the center of the biggest stage, which means playing on Halloween every year and multiple visits to the White House as a World Series champion in the coming years. That’s his goal.

This goal seems hard to be fulfilled with Los Angeles Angels, given the team’s performance this season. So, if Ohtani is determined to break his record of not appearing in a single World Series, he will probably leave the Angels. Also, he is one of the most hyped free agent this season, anticipated to get a $500 million offer.

Shohei Ohtani Will Hope To Receive a Record-Breaking Offer

During the Free Agency, teams will approach the potential players with higher offers. At this point, Sho-time is undoubtedly one of the legends who can claim one of the highest offers in the MLB history. Before his elbow injury, it was almost confirmed that he would reach a $500 million offer. But now things are hanging by a thread.

The two-way phenom’s UCL tear restricted him from pitching for the rest of the 2023 season. However, things will be normalized as soon as he can get back to the normal playing style and deliver the same performance.
