Aaron Judge is a megastar slugger and outfielder for the New York Yankees. His rapid success has already made him an icon of the sport. Playing in his seventh season, he has amassed 200+ home runs to his credit. Notably, Judge is a four-time All-Star player too.

At present, Judge is the highest home run scorer for the ongoing season. With many games still left and the Yankees looking to go the distance, he can stack up the numbers. Aaron looks on course to break Roger Maris’ American League seasonal home run record. But instead of personal records, his focus is on the Yankees’ chances of winning the World Series.

Aaron Judge’s determination toward a Yankees’ World Series victory

Aaron Judge is rewriting MLB history and registering his notable contributions. But rather than personal milestones, he has eyes on the World Series trophy. The Yankees are at the top of the American League East rankings. However, the team lost many games after the mid-tournament break.

The ‘The Yankee Report’ recently shared a brief interview reel of Judge on their Instagram account, where he was asked about how he handles the great discussion around his season.

Judge replied saying, “I go to our win-loss record you know, I focus on that. You know, we got something special here. We don’t get a chance of playing New York every year. We got a chance to win the World Series. So, you know, my teammates and what we got going around here…. They help me to count the moments and just focus on that…. That’s about it.”

A fan commented on the post saying, “Sounds like DJ in his interviews”, drawing a parallel between Judge and former Yankees legend Derek Jeter. Another fan joined in saying, “The most humble man in the world”. While another fan added, “Best Yankee since Jeter, if not better in my opinion. NY better come up with a max contract for 10 years and lock him as a Yankee forever. $500 million – $800 million whatever it takes!! It’s ok Cashman has it.”

The future of Aaron Judge with the New York Yankees

With Judge’s term contract all set to expire, he famously rejected an extension offer.  By the end of the season, he will be a free agent. As of now, the Yankees are returning to their victorious ways and Judge is gradually gaining form. It remains to be seen whether the team wins the World Series and the modern ‘Home Run King’ breaks all records.
