Star pitcher Justin Verlander is easily one of the best ever to dominate the baseball mound. The Mets pitcher started his career in 2005 and since has played for only two teams, Detroit Tigers and the Astros. And now, he will be playing for the New York Mets in the upcoming season. Despite putting in the effort and constant hard work, Verlander was underappreciated for quite a long time.

But after a tremendous season in 2022, his hard work is finally paying off. The season ended with Verlander helping his team lift the World Series trophy for the second time in his tenure with the Astros. Since the off-season started, the pitcher signed with the Mets and is spending time with his family.
