The Mariners recently lost to the Yankees, with the Bronx-based team securing a comfortable 10-4 win. Aaron Judge played a crucial role, hitting 2 home runs and robbing Teoscar Hernandez of a home run. Following the game, Hernandez got into a friendly exchange of words with Judge on Twitter. The Mariners outfielder asked the Yankees’ captain why, referring to the defensive play. In response, Judge said that Hernandez had hit plenty of home runs over him in recent years.

In a Tweet, Judge said, “Brother I’ve seen you hit plenty of HRs over my head over the years! I can have just 1!👌😅”. This was some respectful, friendly banter after a hard-fought game between the two sides. The Yankees have won the first game of the away series and are looking to build some good momentum.

Judge robbed Ohtani of a home run last month

During a game between the Yankees and the Los Angeles Angels last month, Aaron Judge denied Shohei Ohtani. During the first inning, Judge leaped high to deny Ohtani what would have been a momentum-shifting home run. The play was an amazing one that definitely impacted the game.
