‘..There Has Never Been an Issue. Until Now’- Alex Rodriguez’s Ex-wife Once Went After Megastar Jennifer Lopez for ‘Driving the Bus’ in Explosive Child Support Drama

Another controversy comes with another drama. It is related to none other than the baseball legend Alex Rodriguez. This time, it is between his ex-wife, Cynthia, and then-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez.

When parents divorce, they have to figure out everything about child support. While Cynthia and Alex were figuring that out about their daughters, an issue got raised because of Jennifer.

Alex Rodriguez was caught in the middle

Cynthia and Alex got married in November 2002 and then became parents of two beautiful daughters. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, they got divorced in 2008. 

Since then, they co-parented without any kind of issue until 2018. Alex Rodriguez started dating Jennifer Lopez in 2017, and a year later, when he was figuring out some legal details of co-parenting with Cynthia, Jennifer intruded in between it. 

According to Cynthia, “Alex has dated some wonderful women since our divorce, many of whom have had positive relationships with our children. Alex and I have worked well trying to create a stable environment for our daughters, and there has never been an issue. Until now.”

Cynthia is married to a Florida businessman, Angel Nicholas, with whom she shares a daughter. Amidst the ongoing child support issues, Jennifer was saying that A-Rod should only pay $10,000 in addition to the 100 grand that he already pays for his daughters. 

Apparently, Cynthia did not like Lopez intruding between them. Whereas Alex thought he was bankrolling his ex-wife, her then-fiance, and their daughter.

Was Alex influenced by Jennifer?

It was said that Jennifer held the reins of the relationship then. A source referring to Jennifer said, “She’s driving the bus.”

Maybe she was, or maybe she was not. But, it is not uncommon for a partner of the parent to interfere in the legal proceedings if that partner is close to the kids. 

This deciding situation became a drama, and their private life was open to the tabloids. Cynthia certainly did not know how to raise her daughters when even this matter can blow up as it did and that nothing can be left private.

The world knows what happened after this drama. JLo and A-Rod got engaged in 2019, then broke up in 2021. Now, Jennifer is married to Ben Affleck, and A-Rod is rumored to be in a relationship with Kathryne Padgett.
