‘They Left by Separate Exits’- Alex Rodriguez’s Secret Dinner With ‘Soulmate’ Madonna Became the ‘Final Straw’ for Ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis

The year 2008 had the baseball legend, Alex Rodriguez, and Queen of Pop, Madonna, in the headlines. Both of them got their divorce finalized in the same year. But this was not the only reason keeping them in the headlines.

Apparently, the reason for Rodriguez’s divorce from his then-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, was A-Rod’s alleged affair with the pop icon, Madonna. Maddie was in the headlines for the reason behind A-Rod’s separation, as well as because of the rumors of her own divorce from Guy Ritchie.

Just when things started to settle down for Maddie, she once again caused a stir after getting spotted with the Yankees’ player at a New York City restaurant.

When did Alex Rodriguez and Madge got spotted?

A month after A-Rod‘s divorce from Cynthia got finalized, he and Madge caused quite a stir in an NYC restaurant. 

According to US reports, “Madonna entered through the front door half an hour after A-Rod arrived and had her security guards check the exits before she sat down at a quiet corner table.”

The report additionally said, “When the meal was over, they left by separate exits.”

There were interesting things about the Queen of Pop and the Yankees legend seen together. One of them was that Madonna has previously said that she is not involved in any kind of romantic relationship with the baseball player.

Whereas A-Rod has once said that Madge is her ‘soulmate.’

The alleged affair with Madonna was the reason Cynthia called quits on her marriage. And the athlete did not even try to stop her from leaving with their two girls.

Did Madge and Alex ever got spotted before?

The private meal between the two was the latest in the string of meetings in which they got spotted. 

In February 2008, Madonna sponsored a charity benefit. Alex attended that benefit but without his then-wife Cynthia Scurtis. Then about two months later, the baseball player got spotted at one of Madonna’s concerts. Meanwhile, Maddie cheered for the athlete when he gave her his prized box seats during a Yankees game.
