After about 48 hours of the list coming up came up, the former baseball player admitted to taking Performance-Enhancing substances. He has said“I did take a banned substance. And for that, I am very sorry and deeply regretful.”

However, around two years prior to his admitting to having taken a banned substance, in the interview, he said that he had never taken any kind of drug and that he was never tempted to use either. This interview happened during the time there was an investigation going on, on the players by former Senator, George J. Mitchell.

In the interview, he can be seen saying, “I’ve never felt over-matched on the baseball field. I’ve always been in a dominant position, and I felt that if I did my work since I’ve done, since I was a rookie back in Seattle, I didn’t have a problem competing at any level.”
