While the Yankees, Dodgers, Astros, and Braves have already qualified for the Division Series, the Padres and Mets are still fighting for their NLDS spot.

Every year when October comes, MLB fans get to witness the peak of baseball. The games are so entertaining that even celebrities prefer to enjoy the game from the stands. Earlier on Saturday, renowned Hollywood actress, Emma Stone, visited the ballpark and set the atmosphere on fire with her presence during the Padres wild card game.

The San Diego Padres needed just one win to qualify for the next round in the postseason, as they already defeated the Mets in Game 1. However, the Mets bounced back in Game 2 and tied the wild card series.

Talking about Emma Stone, the La La Land actress stole the show with her appearance in Citi Field. She came to the game as a Padres fan.

Even though the San Diego Padres lost the game, the Padres fans were delighted to see Emma wearing the Padres jacket.

Taking to Twitter, fans were wondering if she really showed up to support the Padres. One fan even said that they want to pay homage to Emma Stone.

What’s next for the Padres?

As things stand, the San Diego Padres and New York Mets have won one game each. And whoever wins the last game will win the series. Since the Padres have a relatively better offense, they do have an edge over the Buck Showalter-led team.
