New York Yankees are having a wonderful time in the 2022 season. Except for Josh Donaldson and his recent controversy, the Yankees have nothing to worry about. Notably, Donaldson had addressed the Chicago White Sox star, Tim Anderson, as ‘Jackie’ earlier. Since then, he has been receiving harsh criticism from all around the world.

This incident is getting bigger and more controversial with each passing day. Because, recently, another White Sox pitcher has said upsetting things about Donaldson. Currently, Donaldson is on the injured list with a shoulder issue. But when he will come back into the ballparks, the Yankees management would pray that this ongoing controversy does not affect his performance. Because that will be an enormous loss to the Yankees.

Josh Donaldson slams Liam Hendriks for his contrasting statement

Apart from the Opening Day Game against the Boston Red Sox, Donaldson has not been helpful for the New York Yankees. After admitting that what he said about Tim Anderson was not right, Donaldson has become an easy target for everyone.

Earlier this week, the White Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks said that he does not like Donaldson since the last year. Reacting to this comment, the Yankees star slammed Hendriks over his unexpected comment.

“We were in Chicago. I saw him in the parking lot. He said ‘hey what’s up’ and gave me a dap. It’s weird because I hear one thing and when I see him, it’s different,” Donaldson said to YES Network.

Taking to Twitter, Talkin Yankees shared the video of the same. Although Donaldson has apologized to the Robinson family and Tim Anderson, he will still face a one-game ban. Once Boone includes him in the active roster, Donaldson will have to sit out of a game.
