UFC Lightweight Rafael Fiziev Returns to Take on Brad Riddell at UFC Fight Night Event in December

UFC lightweight Rafael Fiziev is set to take on Brad Riddell in the UFC Fight Night event scheduled on December 04, 2021. The UFC is yet to make an official announcement on the same, but verbal agreements between the concerned parties have taken place.

The card also features other fights like Alex Perez vs Matt Schnell and Claudio Puelles vs. Chris Gruetzemacher besides the one between ‘Ataman’ and ‘Quake’.

City Kickboxing’s Riddell is currently on a winning spree, as he has won 7 fights in a row. The No. 12 in the UFC’s official rankings picked up his biggest win to date over a hard-fighting Drew Dober at UFC 263 in June. The win also earned him the “Fight of the Night” bonus.

Meanwhile, Fiziev has been on a roll as he has picked up 4 consecutive wins. He picked up his third straight bonus when he defeated Bobby Green by unanimous decision last month at UFC 265.

Fiziev (10-1) started his UFC career with a loss to Magomed Mustafaev at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs Oleinik. The latter defeated ‘Ataman’ via a spinning back kick knockout. He then picked up consecutive decision wins against Alex White and Marc Diakiese.

The ‘Ataman’ then picked up an impressive knockout win over Renato Moicano at UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs Moreno. The win also earned him a Performance of the Night award. ‘Ataman’ as mentioned, fought Green at UFC 265: Lewis vs Gane and picked up a hard-fought unanimous decision win. The win also earned him the Fight of the Night bonus.

Meanwhile, ‘Quake’ has a similar career win-loss record. He started his UFC career with a unanimous decision win over Jamie Mularkey at UFC 243: Whittaker vs Adesanya. He then picked up 3 more decision wins inside the octagon. The first came against Magomed Mustafaev at UFC Fight Night: Felder vs Hooker.
