Who Are Commentators for UFC 261?

UFC 261 is a big night for the company. After over a year of having fights at the UFC Apex and a few on Fight Island without fans, the promotion is finally ready to open its doors. 15,000 passionate and eager fight fans will pack the VyStar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida later tonight.

To welcome the fans back in style, the UFC has gone out of its way to stack the card with some incredible fights. The card will feature not one, but three title fights as Kamaru Usman, Zhang Weili, and Valentina Shevchenko will put their belts on the line.

UFC to welcome fans back to the arena at UFC 261 

The UFC is well known for its production quality. The promotion uses the best of analysts’ cameras and audio equipment to ensure that not only are they a step ahead of their competition, but also that fans have the best possible experience. This time around it is no different. Let’s take a look at the individuals who will cover the event for the promotion. 

Commentary Desk

As it is in most PPV events, the play-by-play commentary of the fights will be covered by the dream trio of Joe Rogan, Jon Anik, and former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier. Anik, Rogan, and Cormier have been covering most PPV events for a while now and are huge fan favorites.

UFC 261 desk analysts

Former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen, veteran broadcaster, Michael Eaves, will be on the analyst desk at UFC 261. Michael Chiesa will join the two men. They will be in charge of breaking down what transpired and getting interviews from fighters after the fights are over. 

Octagon announcer

The famous voice of the octagon, Bruce Buffer, will be there to introduce fighters and declare the results on the night. 

Backstage reporter 

Megan Olivi has become a huge fan favorite for her insightful questions and knowledge of the sport. She will be present as the live event reporter at UFC 261. The broadcast personality will be tasked with interviewing fighters pre and post-fight. Olivi will also provide insightful information in between fights, as she always does.
