Former UFC Champion Slams WWE Legend Mick Foley’s Twitter Threats Owing to Elon Musk’s $44 Billion Takeover

On April 26, 2022, Space-X founder Elon Musk reached an agreement to purchase Twitter. People from various different walks of life reacted differently to this news. WWE Legend Mick Foley issued his disinterest in using the social media platform. Former UFC champion, Tim Sylvia slammed Foley for his reaction in his tweet.

It seems that the news of Twitter’s purchase by Elon Musk did not sit well with WWE Legend Mick Foley. In a tweet on April 26, 2022, Mick Foley said, “I’ll be giving some serious thought to leaving @Twitter for good in the near future.” He further added, “I do not have a good feeling about where this platform is heading.”

While Foley seemed upset with the purchase of Twitter by Musk, Ex UFC champion Tim Sylvia was upset with the former’s tweet. In a reply to Foley’s tweet, Sylvia expressed his displeasure with the statement made by the WWE Legend.

In his tweet responding to the WWE Legend, Sylvia said, “You do know you can delete it without telling anyone. Why do you feel the need to announce your departure? Do you need some validation or something?”
