Although MS Dhoni made himself unavailable for the selection, he is certainly not absent from the social media. Every now and then he can be seen on social media – be it cuddling with daughter Ziva or cleaning his car. However, Dhoni is now in his farmhouse, celebrating Diwali with wife Sakshi and daughter. Sakshi posted a video on her Instagram story where it was seen the lighting of the entire area of the house and Ziva also jumped in the end of the video.

MS Dhonilast played for India in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Despite his half-century, India failed to win the game and since then, he has not taken a part in any of the series.

Dhoni didn’t play against the West Indies in August as he was busy serving the Indian Army in the Kashmir Valley at that time. After that, he didn’t feature in the three-game series against South Africa and he is all set to miss the three-match series against Bangladesh as well. Even the speculations were going on about his retirement as well and Rishabh Pant has got the back in Dhoni’s absence.

Even the selector MSK Prasad shared his views on MS Dhoni and his future recently.

“We are moving on, we are very clear. Post World Cup we have been clear. We started backing (Rishabh) Pant and wanted to see him do well. He may not have had the best of matches but we are clear, we are focusing on him only,” MSK Prasad said after announcing the India squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh.

But it seems MS Dhoni has some other ideas in mind as he was recently seen in the gym and was seen doing pullups to be fully fit before returning to the International circuit again.

The post read, “Secret behind those lightning fast stumpings and monstrous sixes revealed! @msdhoni giving us workout motivation!”

As per the reports of the New Indian Express reports on October 24, he will be training with the Jharkhand U-23 teams in Ranchi to get back to full fitness. The training camp will start from October 31.
