Busch has always been a glittering icon in the world of motorsports. In fact, his shining winner’s record may be a bit too dazzling for those caught unaware. So he is going to launch a new brand of shades to help his fans handle the glaring sun and his glaring performances.

Talking about his past business ventures, Busch’s previous company, Rowdy Energy, went out of business in January this year. They had been slapped with lawsuits claiming that the drink was falsely advertised to be free of additives. Yet the drink was found to contain citric acid and ascorbic acids, preservatives used in the food industry.
Rowdy Energy gained a lot of traction when it was active, though. Starting the brand in 2020, Busch derived the name ‘Rowdy’ from his favorite character, Rowdy Burns, in the ‘Days of Thunder’. Besides Kyle Busch himself, other eminent racers like Rico Abreu and John Hunter Nemechek promoted the drink brand. Before the Rowdy Enerdy debacle, the driver also had to let go of his beloved brain child and Truck Series team, Kyle Busch Motorsports.

2023 felt different for Kyle Busch as he faced a lot of upheavals in his career. He sold his Kyle Busch Motorsports truck teams, the shop, and his race-car manufacturing business to Spire Motorsports. He became nostalgic thinking about how he would not be able to prepare with KBM, a team that racked up 100 wins over 15 years, for another season.
“I definitely miss the truck series team a little bit. KBM still exists,” Busch said. “But I’m obviously missing the people that were there and going into the shop and seeing them every single day or every week or whatever it might have been,” the owner added.
